CiTiP 30th anniversary
On March 12, 1989 Sir Tim Berners-Lee submitted his report ‘Information Management: A Proposal’ which marked the birth of the Internet. Same year, the Galileo Spacecraft was launched, as well as the first version of Microsoft Office suite. Last but not least, 30 years ago, the cornerstones of the Centre for IT & IP Law (CiTiP) at KU Leuven were set. So plenty of reasons to organize a celebratory conference ‘Three Decades @ The Crossroads of IP, ICT and Law’ on 4 October 2019 at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of KU Leuven.
In addition to three keynotes by Karen Yeung, Reto Hilty and Luciano Floridi, the conference will offer eight parallel sessions with more than 30 speakers discussing a wide range of IP & IT related topical and emerging issues as well as poster sessions presenting our ongoing research.
The deadline for the registration is 1 October 2019.
