Call for papers


	CALL FOR PAPERS ANNOUNCEMENT The period of paper submission is open. The papers can be written in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Topics: Personal data protection Intellectual property Trust seals Electronic signature Electronic aministration and Electronic government The Office od Justice Identification Management Security measures Juridical Ontologies and XML Telematic Contracts Training Digital inclusion The interested participants must send a summary (200 to 500 words) containing the title of the paper, the author’s or authors’ name, a maximum of four lines of curricular presentation, and an electronic address of contact. Those interested in sending their full paper can do it from now on, including the summary and the same former requirements. The papers will have a maximum extension of 25 pages, A4 format, margins 2,5 cm each side, typed with one half line spacing, letter type “Times New Roman” size 12. The selected papers will be published in the LEFIS Series SCHEDULE Deadline for summaries and papers reception: 1 April 2008 Deadline for communication of acceptance of papers: 5 April 2008 Deadline for inscription reception for accepted communications and reduced inscriptions: 15 April 2008 Deadline for Congress registration: period of Congress celebration

LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE INFORMATION SOCIETY (LEFIS) MEETING

12 to 17 of Mayo of 2008

Zaragoza – Spain

The Legal Framework for the Information Society of is constituted by 118 institutions located in Europe, Suramerica, the United States and Asia.

It is integrated by Universities, research centers, public institutions, companies and offices of lawyers.

It has by objective the development of teaching, activities of R+D, investigations, applications and consultant’s offices in the area that gives it the name: Legal Framework of the Information Society: LEFIS (www.lefis.org) . Their activities, put into reality in 2003, continue the work initiated by several European Universities in the area from beginnings of years 2000.

The meeting of Zaragoza, that will take place between the 12 and the 17 of May of 2008, is the foreseen by its members for year 2008.
